Soft Pots

Some of the first work Stewart made to move away from the restraint of production pieces, the Soft Pots revel in their uniqueness.  Each one is handmade without pre-determined measurements, instead relying on hand-eye co-ordination and exacting colour combinations to enhance the 'deception' of the leaning pot.
Stewart works with the glass to maintain the right balance of control up to the point his trained eye and judgement acknowledge the piece has reached its finished state - each piece providing every owner with a bespoke original.
